Paint Correction
Paint correction is the process of permanently removing surface scratches. Mechanical leveling of clear coat or paint (clear coat is unpigmented paint, clear) to a point where all the paint is free of swirl marks and light scratches. Some paint may require multiple steps to return paint to factory condition.
One-Step
For superficial paint imperfections, swirls and minor scratches to the finish, 1-Step Paint Correction is probably all your vehicle needs. If there are deeper scratches or chips, a 2-step or multi-step correction might be recommended.
Two-Step
The first step is typically an aggressive polish or compound teamed up with a cutting pad. The second step utilizes a finishing polish and pad to remove any marring leftover in the paint from the first step, and to further refine the finish.
Multi-Step
The first step a microfiber cutting pad is used with a cutting compound alongside our professional-grade tools to remove 80%+ of the correctable defects. The second step utilizes a finishing or light cutting pad to remove any marring leftover in the paint from the first step. The final step utilizes a finishing polish and pad for the perfect finish.
